The last of the Sprinkles :(

Since getting my new job with it's goofy-ass hours, I can no longer participate in my weekly Friday ritual of going to Weight Watchers at the 57th & Lexington location, meeting Ryan for lunch afterwards and then hitting up Sprinkles. It's for the better though. I've found a new meeting and don't need to spend $7 a week on little cakes. I only miss meeting Ryan for lunch.

My un-doing

Leftover cranberry sauce & stuffing? Fat free American cheese singles? NO! SPRINKLES!!!
They separated the peppermint ones so they wouldn't make the other 2 taste all minty. They're always looking out for me that way. Actually, I thought beforehand to ask them to do that, but I'd like to think they'd've done it for me anyway.
Left to right: Eggnog, Red Velvet, Peppermint Vanilla, Peppermint Chocolate.
The Red Velvet was for Ryan. It's his fave and always his 1st request.
He approves and wishes I would leave him along.
 Godel wants my Peppermint Vanilla.
 Well you can't have it!
Then, today (we ate those others last Saturday) there was Eggnog. I wasn't sure what to expect.
 I will undress you.
And you will show me your spice cake body.
And you will tell me your frosting is rum flavored. Am I getting too graphic with this?
Oh, you like our Christmas tree? Me too.

I've yo-yo-ed on Weight Watchers ever since coming here, and now you can see why. It needs to stop so that I can get a job as a receptionist there! 26 lbs to go and I can do that. Hopefully just a few more months after that and I can be a leader.

Spronkles

This is what happens when you get Sprinkles Cupcakes, put the box in your purse and then ride trains all day. They still tasted great, though. Orange-Cranberry with White Chocolate icing for me and Salty Caramel for Ryan.

Happy Birthday to me, Love, Monica

This being the first time in a decade that I haven't spent my birthday in Cincinnati, my sister, Monica, sent me a Sprinkles gift card so that I could buy myself some cupcakes!

Here we have salty caramel, vanilla, vegan red velvet and dark chocolate.
And outside of Sprinkles on the way home, I found out that Jesus is coming to town for my birthday. He can have a cupcake, too.
Do not eat those decorations on top. They taste like chalk.

I always get Sprinkles every Friday after my Weight Watchers meetings. I'm attempting to try every flavor. The salty caramel (seasonal 2x per year) and chai latte are my faves so far.
This Friday, Orange Cranberry flavor comes out. I'm really excited about that one because I always loved the orange cranberry bagels from bagel stores in Cincinnati. I'll have to wait until December for the eggnog ones and peppermint ones.
 I shared them.
Katie, who flew in for the Quidditch World Cup, got the vegan red velvet, which I bought for her knowing that she is a vegan. What I did not know was that it was also her birthday. How awesome!
