How to eat Sprinkles Cupcakes
Buy a cupcake to go. Pick up a menu/schedule and a fork.
Or pick up 2 cupcakes. Get 2 forks so that no one suspects that you are about to eat both cupcakes by yourself. Look into overeaters anonymous later.
Admire packaging. Think about why you paid so much for these.
Find a good spot to eat. Watching the seals do tricks at the Central Park Zoo is my personal fave.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip & Lemon Coconut. Both good choices.
Salty Caramel. A seasonal offering. Check the website.
Or, get your cupcake to eat there.
Banana. The only one there I've never liked. Tastes like plain ole banana bread.
Or take your cupcake home.
Caramel Apple. So so. I've also like chai, pumpkin, carrot, raspberry, key lime and vanilla almond with chocolate frosting. I go here every week after I check in to weight watchers~ I think one of the best things about it is that there is a perfect ratio of cake to frosting. And the frosting is so great. You can skip the middle man of cupcakery and just get a shot of frosting for 75 cents!

Photo dump!
So, most of these are more photos that Ryan took before I got to NYC, and he really likes taking photos of buildings, but at least I know what a few of them are! The one on top and the one right below this, though, I have no idea.
A church? St. Bartholomew? I should really look this stuff up.
Trump tower? I know it's brownish like this.
Plaza hotel? I'll see if Eloise is home.
The Apple store! Believe it or not, this is the most photographed thing in NYC, according to flickr. They've even redesigned it so that it has fewer glass tiles since this photo was taken.
Oh, hey. I have a tattoo of this...
Maybe St. Patrick's.
Maybe
The flat-iron building. I see this so much because it's right by Eataly. I don't even know what's in it.Bloomberg LP. Where the magic happens.
Thanks for putting up with my lack of actual posting! I still don't have a job, so maybe next week, I'll do a "day in the life of an NYC housewife" photo-an-hour style. I think that would be fun!

108 6th St Brooklyn
108 6th St, Park Slope. Just a regular house on a regular street. Found on accident! Next door neighbor told us that it's in a couple guide books.

Rice to Riches
At first, I thought this place was a retail store. Some kind of chintzy place that sold red hat lady accessories, just judging by the name. Then I started to read the ridiculous signs on the outside...
Where the hell were we? We stepped inside and found out that there really is a store in New York for absolutely everything under the sun. A restaurant with nothing but rice pudding? C'mon.
I had the french toast flavor with streusel topping. It comes in that adorable little plastic container that's re-usable with a matching spoon! I've lost mine, though...I guess that means I have to go back!

Some scenes from around NYC, taken by Ryan before I got here!
A Polish Fajita Panini. Talk about multi-tasking ethnicity!
A cemetery somewhere in Queens.
I have no idea what this is.
Bloomberg LP! Where the magic happens!
A giant teddy bear!
This little boy was really excited about it!
