I Saw It and I Liked It Vol 2

Here is what I saw this past week that I really liked:

How to resize a T-shirt. I actually didn't see this this week. I saw it like, 5 year ago or whatever, bookmarked it then, and have been waiting to try it ever since. While I'll have lots of alone time here coming up, I am going to get all cozy with my sewing machine.

The Yard Sale Treasure Map. I used this tool last year to find a few gems, and just as I was thinking about how to find new stuff in New York, I come across this again. It was like finding $20 in your coat pocket the first time you wear it again.
Recipes for the best chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, according to the kitchn. Since I need to use up everything in my refrigerator, this is a great experiment!
The Long Dog Ranch. A farm (a real farm, not a puppy mill) that breeds dachshunds! How awesome! My parents are thinking about getting a new dog, and they are leaning towards Labrodoodle, but everyone else in our lives has doxies so we all have a special place in our hearts for them!
How to make Homemade Laundry Soap. No, it's not just for the Duggar Family that makes everything themselves. I've done it twice now and I love it! I use scented Dr. Bronner's bar soap instead of the kind they use, and I also pour it all into large jars for easier toting.
Alrighty! Hope you all had a great week, too, and have an awesome one coming up! My last week was NUTS! It's only going to get nuttier from here on out, but I'm really excited!

  1. Oh, dachshunds! My family has always had at least one of these little guys my whole life... we bred two of ours but only yielded one puppy. Now I live with my fiance and a bunch of large breeds (like the Malamute) and really, really miss doxie pups. I am hoping to convince my boo to let me get a doxie!
